Over 60 players of all ages enjoyed the 2012 Turkey Bowl this morning, on the Wakeman turf.
From the oldest player (Seth Sholes ’77) to current varsity members — along with alumni sons (some of them future Wreckers), long-time friends of Staples soccer, Beachside teammates, cousins from England and much more — it was a great way to play the beautiful game, and work up an appetite for the afternoon feast.
Next up: the indoor tournament. All alumni, varsity players and friends are invited to the event — a fundraiser for the Albie Loeffler Scholarship Fund — on Friday, December 28 (6 p.m., Staples fieldhouse).
