John Brannan ’69 To Run For Selectman

The Wrecker formerly known as “Raisin” (Raisin Brannan — get it?) has announced his candidacy for the town’s top spot — the town of Hull, Massachusetts, that is.

The election is in 6 weeks. John faces 2 long-term locals.

john-brannanAfter graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, John became a small business owner. Entrepreneur Magazine named him Texas Entrepreneur of the Year. He also held senior management positions in sales and marketing.

John is a member of his town’s Zoning Board of Appeals. He helped found the Destination Community Development non-profit group — which helped start Hull’s farmers market — and serves on its board of director.

He also coaches a boys team in the Hull Youth Soccer Association.

We are very lucky to have someone of John’s caliber and expertise involved in our beautiful town. Hull needs people with business experience, strategic planning and clear vision now and to bring us into the future!
