Howard Walker, a great soccer fan of his sons Jon ’88 and Sam ’92, died Saturday after a short battle with cancer.
Jon described him as “a most loving presence, a tireless provider, a wonderful teacher, a great friend, and the ‘rock’ for Sam and me.”
Survivors in addition to his 2 sons include his wife Sandy, and 3 grandchildren.
The family will sit Shiva through Wednesday evening at 8 Turtleback Lane. Contributions in Howard’s name may be made to the Jewish Home for the Elderly, 175 Jefferson St., Fairfield, CT 06825.
