Watermelon Cup ’09 is almost here!

The popular 6-v-6 summer league will again be played Wednesday evenings at Long Lots School (July 1 through August 5).

USA (current college players) will be gunning for their 3rd straight championship — and 3rd straight undefeated season.  However, this year’s competition will be the toughest yet.

All current Staples students and alumni are welcome to join.

To register, email dwoog@optonline.net before June 19.  Please sign up only if you will be here for most matches.

Teams will be announced soon.

  1. Just a suggestion…K participated last year and I think it would be cool this year if there were a draft. Captains (the varsity captains) and a few other top players, based on the number of participants and teams, could would draft players for their team. It’s a cool way to try it this year.

    That’s actually what we did last year!

  3. yea i think that would be much better because then all the bad players might actually have a chance rather than all the good players making a team with just themselves on it.
