Ethan Bradeen, Jack Scott, Ryan Petersen, Bobby Jacowleff Pace Indoor Track To LL Gold, State Open Bronze

Several snow-induced delays did not stop the Staples indoor track juggernaut.

With a quartet of soccer players providing key points, the Wreckers edged archrival Danbury 78-76 to win the state LL championship.

Days later, the Westporters’ 40 points earned them 3rd at the state open meet. Bloomfield won, with 61 points. The Hatters (53.5) were 2nd.
