Daniel Boyce, Sebo Hood Clean Up In Octathlon Round 2

In the fiercely contested Octathlon Round 2, juniors Daniel Boyce and Sebo Hood won both the FIFA tournament and the “Best Goal” award. Each earned 16 points, vaulting Boyce into 1st place (27 points) and Hood into 2nd (22) in the overall standings.

The team of Diego Alanis and Sterling Price placed 2nd. They also scored the most goals, for a grand total of 13 points each.

George Kokkalis and Charlie Leonard finished 3rd.

The point totals after 2 rounds: Daniel Boyce (27); Sebo Hood (22); Sterling Price (19); Bobby Jacowleff (18); Andrew Puchala (15); Diego Alanis (14); Foster Goldberg (11); Jack Scott (8); George Kokkalis, Charlie Leonard and Steven Sobel (7); Nate Argosh and Noah Schwaeber (6); Patrick Beusse, Robby Giannone, Jordan McNair, Gabe Pensak, Michael Reid, James Rubin, Yousef Shahin and Connor Weiler (1).

Six Octathlon challenges remain. The next event is flag football, organized by Yousef Shahin.
